They explained that the de-energized sections of the tracks have been connected to adjacent substations, and most trains continue to operate using regular electric locomotives. On sections where power supply has not yet been restored, trains are running with backup diesel locomotives.
In "UZ," it was noted that backup diesel locomotives have already been dispatched to the specified sections to resume service. They also reported that as a result of shelling at a railway depot in Dnipropetrovsk region, two railway workers were killed. Three others were injured, and their condition is reported as stable.
The enemy is attacking Ukraine with all available types of weaponry, including ballistic, cruise, and air-to-ground missiles. Under enemy fire, DTEK's thermal power plants have sustained significant damage to their energy equipment.
Explosions were heard in several cities across Ukraine, including Kyiv, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, and Rivne. As a result of the attacks, there were injuries, and two people were killed.
