This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.

The "Gerbera" devices are being assembled in the city of Yelabuga in Tatarstan. They can carry a warhead like kamikaze drones and conduct electronic reconnaissance, specifically to identify air defense positions and record hits from other strike drones.

The "Gerbera" is made from simple materials—plywood and foam plastic—making it significantly cheaper than "Shaheds." However, the drone contains a set of components from foreign manufacturers.

According to intelligence sources, "Gerberas" are being assembled based on a Chinese prototype using imported foreign components from China. The developer of the UAV is the Chinese model aircraft manufacturer Skywalker Technology Co., Ltd, which also produces fuselages and organizes the supply of kits to Russia. The supply is facilitated through third-party companies.

The interference-resistant antenna contains chips from Analog Devices and Texas Instruments (USA), as well as NXP Semiconductors (Netherlands).

The universal flight controller also has components made by Texas Instruments, Atmel (USA), STMicroelectronics, U-Blox (Switzerland), NXP Semiconductors (Netherlands), and XLSEMI (China).

For target guidance by the pilot (similar to FPV drones), the loitering version of the UAV is equipped with a Chinese camera with a three-axis gimbal, Topotek KHY10S90, and a modem, Xingkai Tech Mesh Network XK-F358.

The DLE60 engine is produced by the Chinese company Mile Hao Xiang Technology Co., Ltd.
