Wanted by authorities, the former deputy head of customs was mobilized in Lutsk, as seen in the video.

In Lutsk, the employees of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRSS) along with police officers mobilized former Deputy Head of the Volyn and Bukovyna Customs, Yuriy Tereshchuk.

This was reported by the Telegram channel "Seredych.info". According to preliminary information, the man was allegedly on the wanted list in the "Oberih" database.

The detention took place near a sports hall where the man regularly trained.

The Volyn regional TCRSS stated that Tereshchuk was taken to the military enlistment office, but during the medical examination, he escaped by jumping over a fence. This was reported by "Volyn News Service".

Who is Yuriy Tereshchuk

Yuriy Tereshchuk initially served as Deputy Head of the Volyn Customs, and later the Bukovyna Customs of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. In 2016, he was dismissed from the position of Deputy Head of the Volyn Customs when 1.5 tons of amber were seized at the "Drohusk-Yahodin" border crossing between Poland and Ukraine. Polish media reported on this at the time.

Subsequently, Tereshchuk attempted to regain his position as Deputy Head of the regional customs through the courts, but was unsuccessful. In 2020, he became the Deputy Head of the Bukovyna Customs, but was also dismissed from there.

As reported earlier by "Telegraf", on January 14, a member of the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries of Ukraine (CRGL) Yevhen Yakhniy was detained.
