This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky via Telegram on Wednesday, January 15.

As Zelensky noted, Ukraine is continuously working on bringing its people home. Today, another 25 Ukrainians were successfully returned from Russian captivity.

"These are our military personnel and civilians. Among them are defenders of Mariupol and 'Azovstal', as well as from our Kharkiv region, Donetsk region, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. The guys have severe injuries and illnesses. Each of them will receive all the necessary medical assistance," — the president wrote.

Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to the team that is searching for Ukrainians and organizing exchanges. He also thanked the United Arab Emirates for facilitating today’s exchange.

Recall that Ukrainian Alla Spirodinova has been waiting for nearly three years for the return of her son Yuri from captivity. The young man voluntarily joined the army at the onset of the full-scale invasion.

In Odesa, another rally was held in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war. Participants gathered to remind everyone about the heroes who are currently in captivity of the Russians.
