Baptism in Lviv

Today, at 10:00 AM, a city-wide water blessing ceremony was held in Rynok Square, Lviv, conducted by priests of various denominations. Residents and visitors are welcome to collect this blessed water to take home.

The press service of the city council noted that this year, our military chaplains will perform the second rite of water blessing.

"The city-wide Baptism has become a good tradition for our city, where priests of various denominations bless the water, which residents and even guests can collect to take home," said acting director of the "Mayor's Administration" department, Sergey Kubelko.
