A correspondent from Novini.LIVE visited the scene of the incident.
"Around 11:45, reports of a fire began to come in from the Dnipro district of the capital. While en route to the scene, rescuers reported seeing thick black smoke. Upon arrival, it became clear that the fire had occurred in two buildings of the service station," said Pavel Petrov, a representative of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv.
Petrov also mentioned that the fire is currently localized over an area of 300 square meters. According to him, the firefighters are continuing to dismantle and douse the structure to extinguish the flames. Nine units of equipment and about forty rescuers are working at the scene.
"According to preliminary reports, there are no casualties as a result of the incident," Petrov noted.
Earlier, we reported that a residential building caught fire in Odesa. Due to heavy smoke, rescuers operated under a heightened call number. Four people were rescued from the fire.
We remind you that a fire occurred in a high-rise building on Volodymyr Velykyi Street in Lviv. The flames nearly claimed the life of an elderly woman.
