Commemoration of the Heroes of Kruty

Residents of Kharkiv and community representatives gathered at the city cemetery. It is here that Valentin Otamanovskyi, a participant in the events of 1918, is buried.

"The fact that he is buried here in Kharkiv at the cemetery, and that young people come here every year — this is very good. I am grateful to Father Hennadiy for finally allowing us to commemorate him religiously this year, as this has not happened before," noted Galina Kuts, a member of the Kharkiv "Prosvita" council.
