The party has suggested introducing the concept of "reemigration," which entails the mass return of migrants, including foreign residents and citizens with "unassimilated" backgrounds. Party leader Alice Weidel emphasized the need to exit the EU asylum system, close borders, and return all illegal migrants within the first 100 days of the party's rule.
"And to be frank with you: if this is called reemigration, then it will be reemigration," said the official.
Additionally, the "Alternative for Germany" party plans to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement and eliminate wind power plants, which it referred to as "mills of shame." The party also intends to abolish gender studies. Looking ahead, the party proposes a return to a national currency and exiting the European Union.
Regarding the war in Ukraine, the manifesto contains little criticism of Russia. The party advocates for a neutral status for Ukraine without NATO and EU membership, a withdrawal of sanctions against Moscow, and a ban on the deployment of American medium-range missiles on German soil.
One of the party's founders, Albrecht Glaser, suggested condemning Russian aggression; however, this proposal was rejected by the majority of conference participants.
Moreover, party leader Alice Weidel stated her intention to reactivate "Nord Stream" and resume the purchase of Russian gas.
"We will bring 'Nord Stream' back into operation, you can count on that," said the leader of the "Alternative for Germany."
