Transport and bread: how do prices differ between the USA and Ukraine?

Transportation Prices in the USA

The correspondent noted that transportation prices in the USA vary. For instance, in New York, a fixed fare allows travel to any point in the city. In contrast, in Washington, the ticket price depends on the distance traveled and can reach up to 14 dollars. In Ukraine, for example, the highest fare is currently in Lviv — 25 UAH, which is approximately half a dollar.

Additionally, the correspondent was unpleasantly surprised by the quality of bread. American bread, for instance, can last for two years without spoiling. Delicious baked goods can be found in local bakeries or foreign stores.
