Sibiga announced the amount of assistance Iceland is providing to Ukraine.

Iceland's Assistance to Ukraine

Andrey Sibiga stated that Iceland has provided significant financial aid to Ukraine.

"I want to emphasize that the amount of assistance given to the Ukrainian side specifically for defense needs currently stands at 30 million dollars. This is quite a substantial sum, proportional to Iceland's capabilities, and we are grateful for it. We also discussed in detail today how we can further increase production by placing orders with Ukrainian manufacturers," said Sibiga.

In turn, Iceland's Foreign Minister Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir mentioned that the country will continue to support Ukraine in the future.

"We will keep investing in and financing your defense industry in Ukraine through the Danish Fund — this is our way of collaborating with the Nordic countries," the official stated.

Recall that during the meeting with her Icelandic counterpart, Andrey Sibiga commented on the potential visit of representatives from Donald Trump's administration to Ukraine.
