Russians targeted Kharkiv region with aerial bombs, resulting in injuries to a woman.

This was reported by the Kharkiv region police on Telegram on Monday, January 6.

As noted by the police, on the evening of January 6, Russian aviation struck open terrain near the village of Karasevka with a guided bomb. Three more bombs hit the town of Zolochiv.

"As a result, 30 private houses, two apartment buildings, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged. A 61-year-old woman was injured. She is experiencing an acute stress reaction," the police reported.

The aftermath of the shelling was documented by the investigative operational group, and forensic experts and bomb technicians also worked at the attack site. Investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Recall that on January 6, Russians attacked Ukraine with missiles and kamikaze drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 79 Russian UAVs.

In Sumy, rescuers completed emergency recovery work at a dormitory that was damaged by a Russian shelling. As a result of the drone strike, windows were shattered in the building.
