Ukrainian drones struck an oil depot in the city of Engels, Saratov region, on the night of January 8. It has been burning for the fourth consecutive day.

At the same time, the region's governor, Roman Busergin, claims that "the process of fuel burning continues." According to him, the wind has shifted direction, so the smoke is no longer blowing towards the city.

Recall that powerful explosions occurred in the Russian city of Engels on the night of January 8, resulting in damage to the oil depot "Kristall." It serves as a storage facility for the state reserve.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the damage to the Russian oil depot in Engels, Saratov region. Numerous explosions were heard near the site, and a massive fire broke out.
