Novyny.LIVE asked people on the streets of Lviv whether such restrictions would help combat the illegal circulation of funds.
The majority of those surveyed support the introduction of limits on transfers, believing it will help bring businesses into the open and compel entrepreneurs to pay taxes. However, some express concerns that the new restrictions may cause inconveniences for ordinary citizens.
"No, if people work unofficially, such restrictions won't help," says a young woman.
"It might help. People will understand that they need to pay taxes," adds a Lviv resident.
"It depends on who these restrictions are for. If it's for entrepreneurs, then it's reasonable, because we need to bring businesses out of the shadows. But ordinary Ukrainians, I don’t think they have such large sums to hide," notes a woman.
"Yes, such actions will help control the flow of money. People need to pay taxes," says a respondent.
