Another ghost town— the Ministry of Internal Affairs showcased the appearance of Chasov Yar.

The photo of the city was published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on Telegram on Wednesday, January 29.

Current state of Chasiv Yar — how the city looks now

Once, Chasiv Yar was home to about 13,000 people. Now, it has become yet another ghost town due to the war waged by the occupiers.

"After the arrival of the Russians, only emptiness remained... The fighters of the 'Donbas' battalion of the 18th Slavic Brigade of the National Guard are heroically defending the city, repelling daily enemy attacks," the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.

It is worth mentioning that in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, units of Chechens from "Akhmat" were spotted. Their ranks also include former "Wagner" fighters and militants from the neo-Nazi group "Rusich".

As previously reported by the media, Ukrainian forces struck the territory of the fire-resistant plant in Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. This indicates that Russians have entered the plant's territory.
