During the hearing, Farion's daughter stated that she had filed a civil lawsuit in the Shevchenkivskyi District Court for moral damages amounting to 15 million hryvnias against the suspect in her mother's murder, Vyacheslav Zinchenko.
According to her, she intends to donate this amount to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to support the unit where her deceased husband, Vasily Osoba, served.
According to Novini.LIVE, the court granted the request. Meanwhile, the suspect's lawyers requested time to familiarize themselves with the case. Additionally, the defense is seeking extra protection for Zinchenko due to threats against him online. The lawyer requested that the suspect be provided with a helmet and bulletproof vest during transport to the court, as he is not safe from potential attacks.
It is worth noting that friends, mother, and relatives of Vyacheslav Zinchenko attended court in Lviv to support the suspect. Most of them wore t-shirts featuring Zinchenko's image.
We also reported that prosecutors have reclassified the crime, and the young man is now suspected of intentional murder. He faces life imprisonment.
