Britain will provide Ukraine with a new aid package worth £55 million.

This was announced by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga during a joint briefing with UK Foreign Minister David Lammy on Wednesday, February 5.

New Aid Package from the UK

As Andriy Sibiga highlighted, Ukraine is grateful for the UK's commitment to provide military assistance totaling £3 billion by 2030-2031. He stated that this is an investment not only in Ukraine's security but also in the security of all of Europe. Sibiga also announced new assistance from the UK.

"Thank you for today’s announcement of a new support package from the UK worth £55 million. This funding for social, humanitarian, and energy programs will bolster our resilience, and this aid is very timely right now," said the Ukrainian minister.

It is also worth noting that Ukraine will receive another military aid package from Finland valued at €198 million. The new batch addresses the most urgent needs at the front.

Additionally, Sweden has announced the allocation of another support package for Ukraine. It will become the largest aid package that this country has provided.
