In the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian forces conducted their first fully automated military operation.

This was reported by Vladimir Degtyarev, a representative of the public relations service of the "Charter" brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, who was quoted by "ArmyInform".

The operation involved ground drones equipped with machine guns, kamikaze ground drones intended to destroy obstacles or shelters, as well as drones designed for mine clearance or, conversely, to lay mines in specific areas.

According to Degtyarev, in addition, Ukrainian forces utilized large copters capable of carrying anti-tank mines and surveillance drones.

"This means that we are talking about dozens of units of robotic and unmanned technology simultaneously deployed over a small section of the front," he stated, adding that whoever employs robotic technologies will gain an advantage on the battlefield — "possibly within a few weeks."

Recall that at the end of November, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that they had established a training school for operators of unmanned ground robotic systems. During practice, the military uses training models of ground robotic complexes.

Ukraine has repeatedly announced the development of its own robotic systems for military purposes. Some of these robots are already operational at the front, such as the Shablia turret.

Additionally, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov mentioned that mass production of robotic platforms aimed at preserving the lives of soldiers on the battlefield is beginning.
