He made this statement during an interview on the "TSN Week" program, which was broadcast as part of a telethon.
"No matter how much you defend, you will still retreat. We are forced to hold the defense and concentrate our forces effectively along the entire front line," noted the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Following this, journalist Andriy Tsaplyenko, who conducted the interview, asked Oleksandr Syrskyi how Ukraine could carry out offensive actions, considering that Russia has an advantage in manpower, armored vehicles, and aviation.
The general replied that it is essential to implement "what we have an advantage in."
"We were the first in the world to create Drone Forces. Now we are scaling up and increasing the drone component. We are actively developing robotic platforms," said Syrskyi.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also recalled that during Soviet times, Ukraine produced "all control systems for anti-aircraft missile systems."
"This means we have the capabilities and opportunities to create our own domestic air defense complex. I hope that in terms of its characteristics, it will be no worse than Patriot," emphasized the general.
