Russians are advancing in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions as well as in Kursk (battle maps).

Analysts estimate that Russian troops have recently advanced to the southeast of Kupiansk. Geolocation footage published on December 20 indicates that the Russians have recently succeeded in the northern part of Zahryzov (southeast of Kupiansk). The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, stated that the enemy is attempting to bypass Dvorichna (north of Kupiansk) from the north. According to him, the Russians may hold limited positions in the forests along the western (right) bank of the Oskol River north of Dvorichna.

The Russians have made gains in Toretsk. According to geolocation footage, the RF army has slightly advanced towards Ukrainian Street in the northern part of Toretsk and towards Gagarin Street in the southeastern part of Toretsk.
