The head of the Kupiansk City Military Administration, Andrey Besedin, stated this in a comment to the local publication "Dumka."
According to him, the Russian airborne troops were unable to establish a foothold in the city because they were eliminated. As of November 14, the situation in Kupiansk is reportedly under control.
Recently, analysts from the DeepState project reported that two columns of Russian equipment were heading towards Kupiansk along the route to Svatove.
One of their MT-LB armored personnel carriers was hit, but the other managed to reach Svatovska Street in Kupiansk without obstruction. However, the armored personnel carrier was struck as it turned onto Nekrasova Street.
Analysts note that about a dozen Russians were able to scatter to their homes. Some of the airborne troops were eliminated by Ukrainian units, and reinforcements sent by the Russians were also struck.
