As of 7:42, it was known that six people were injured and one person was killed, who was inside a building at the time of the shelling. A 76-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious condition. He and four other men and a woman sustained blast injuries.
Prokudin warns that the situation in the region will remain tense throughout the holidays. Therefore, he urged people not to go outside unnecessarily and to consider temporary evacuation.
