According to the agency, the Ukrainian delegation met in Washington with Trump’s candidate for White House National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz, and the candidate for Special Representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.
It is noted that the purpose of the visit was to establish cooperation with the future U.S. administration to gain support in the war against Russia.
The details of the meeting have not yet been disclosed. Trump’s team did not respond to a request for comment on the meeting.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga reported that the Head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak has left for an official visit to the U.S.
“This contact at the level of the head of the office is very important for establishing, in particular, relations with representatives of the new administration,” said Sibiga.
Previously, the NV publication, citing sources, wrote about Yermak’s visit. According to the publication, the Ukrainian delegation also included Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
