Air defense forces shot down 17 Russian drones and two missiles.

The Ukrainian Air Forces reported this information.

The occupiers targeted a bridge over the Belgorod-Dniester Liman in Zatoka, Odessa region. They launched two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and eight guided air-to-surface missiles X-59/69 from tactical aviation aircraft over the Black Sea.

Additionally, the Russians struck Kramatorsk with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.

The enemy used drones to attack from the Kursk and Oryol directions, which are located in Russia.

The air assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces.

Air defense operations were conducted in the Odessa, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Poltava regions.

Two X-59/69 air-to-surface missiles and 17 drones were successfully shot down. 23 drones were lost track of, and another three drones flew towards Russia and the temporarily occupied territories.

Consequences of the Attack

The occupiers carried out the twentieth air attack on Kyiv in October. A fire broke out in the capital due to debris from the drones.

In the Cherkasy regional military administration, it was reported that debris and the shockwave damaged property of several enterprises in the Cherkasy district.
