This was reported by First Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havryliuk during a question hour for the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
"Currently, the Ministry of Defense is working on a complete reform of the territorial recruitment centers, primarily to bring them under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense and to create entirely new structures to implement measures related to the mobilization of military personnel," he explained.
It should be noted that the direct leadership of the recruitment centers and oversight of their activities are carried out by the relevant operational commands, while overall control is maintained by the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which coordinates key issues with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense.
Recall that earlier, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated that the department has proposals for reforming the mobilization system to move away from the so-called "busification."
