The Netherlands will allocate an additional €22 million for Ukraine's air defense and cyber resilience.

This was reported by the Dutch Foreign Minister Kaspar Veldkamp following the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting in Brussels on December 3.

In October, the Netherlands announced the provision of 400 million euros for the development of drones in collaboration with Ukraine. In November, Ukraine received new air defense systems from the Netherlands worth 88 million euros.

In total, Amsterdam has provided military assistance to Ukraine amounting to approximately 3.8 billion euros. This includes F-16 fighter jets, armored howitzers, tanks, and ammunition.

As noted by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, one of the main topics at the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting was ensuring the Defense Forces with additional air defense systems. He informed NATO partner members about Ukraine's "specific needs for 20 systems."

In November, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine needs at least 25 Patriot systems to fully secure its airspace.
