Furthermore, two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles were launched from the Voronezh region. Both the cruise missiles and the ballistic missiles were intercepted.
Meanwhile, out of 90 Shahed-type strike drones and unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles, 37 were destroyed in the Kyiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Cherkasy, Zaporizhia, Chernihiv, and Kirovohrad regions.
47 drones disappeared from radar, while two exited Ukraine's airspace towards Belarus and Russia. The remaining two are still in Ukraine's airspace.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a combined strike was launched against the capital for the first time in 73 days, utilizing drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.
There has been no information regarding damage or casualties in Kyiv. However, in the region, a 48-year-old man was injured due to debris from downed Russian targets.
He sustained abrasions but refused hospitalization. A warehouse caught fire at the site of the debris fall, but the fire has already been extinguished.
In light of the Russian attack, “Ukrenergo” announced temporary restrictions for businesses and industrial consumers that will last until the evening.
