He mentioned this during a briefing following the meeting, which is quoted by the Guardian.

According to him, by mid-January, Ukraine will receive hundreds of thousands of additional artillery shells, thousands of rockets, and hundreds of armored vehicles.

Furthermore, the United States will train Ukrainian recruits at training grounds outside of Ukrainian territory.

Simultaneously, Ukraine will receive $20 billion from the U.S. as part of a total loan of $35 billion under the initiative of the G7 countries, which will be repaid using profits from frozen Russian assets. As of today, the U.S. contribution to this loan has nearly been finalized.

Additionally, the United States will impose new sanctions against Russia in the coming weeks to complicate Russia's ability to conduct the war and strengthen Ukraine's position at the negotiating table.

Yermak in the U.S.

Recently, the NV publication, citing sources, wrote that the head of the President's Office is heading to the U.S. for talks with people from Donald Trump's circle.

On December 4, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga confirmed that Yermak went on an official visit to the U.S.

"This contact at the level of the office head is very important for establishing, in particular, relations with representatives of the new administration," explained Sibiga.

CNN, citing sources, reported that the head of the President's Office met with future U.S. Vice President James Vance and Mike Waltz, who has been chosen by newly elected American President Donald Trump as his national security advisor.

Meanwhile, Reuters also claimed that a meeting took place with the special envoy for the war in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.

Yermak himself spoke about meetings with "key people" from Donald Trump's team but did not disclose names, citing a "gentlemen's agreement."
