This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate.

They stated that the aircraft belonged to the Russian Navy. The explosion was caused by a detonation of its power plant. As a result, the plane, valued at approximately $4.5 million, has been rendered inoperable.

It is worth noting that a week ago, on December 14, the GUR reported that a Russian Su-30 fighter jet caught fire at the airfield in Krymsk, located in the Krasnodar region of Russia.

Additionally, on October 14, a military transport aircraft Tu-134 was burned at the military airfield "Orenburg-2," which was used, among other things, for transporting the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
