The Ternopil City District court has imposed a preventive measure on the commander of the 211th Pontoon-Bridge Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleg Poberezhnyuk, who was involved in the abuse of soldiers. He has been taken into custody for 2 months with an alternative bail of 908 thousand hryvnias.
Putin's proposal for a "duel" between Russia and the West
The head of Russia, Vladimir Putin, during a "direct line," once again stated that there is no chance of intercepting Russian "Oreshnik" missiles and offered Western countries to arrange a "high-tech duel" in the form of shelling the capital of Ukraine.

The Verkhovna Rada supported the dismissal of people's deputy Yuriy Boyko from the Rada's Human Rights, De-occupation, and Reintegration of Occupied Territories Committee on the second attempt.
