At around 6:40, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a missile threat across the entire territory of Ukraine due to the takeoff of Russian MiG-31K aircraft. Subsequently, they warned of five high-speed targets heading towards the capital.
According to the words of the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andrey Kovalenko, the Russians are striking with ballistic missiles from Bryansk.
As a result, vehicles caught fire in the Holosiyivskyi district. According to Klitschko, an ambulance was called to the strike site, and later it became known that one person was injured, followed by another. Both were hospitalized.

The KMVA also reported debris falling at another location in the Holosiyivskyi district, where a heat pipeline was damaged, and in the Dniprovskyi district, where debris fell on an unfinished building. Additionally, fires broke out in the Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
Updated at 8:30. The KMVA clarified that Russia launched air-launched ballistic missiles "Kinzhal" and ballistic missiles of the "Iskander"/KN-23 type towards Kyiv — a total of 8 missiles. As a result of this strike, debris was recorded falling in 3 districts of the city.
In the Holosiyivskyi district, an office building, road surface, and a gas pipeline that was depressurized were damaged. Five vehicles also caught fire. At another location in this district, the facade of an office building was damaged, where a fire occurred on the roof, and the fifteenth floor collapsed — people may be trapped there.
In the Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, fires broke out in non-residential buildings due to falling debris. In the Solomianskyi district, the fire has been extinguished. Meanwhile, the information regarding the debris falling in the Dniprovskyi district has not been confirmed after verification.
Updated at 9:12. Due to the damage to the heat pipeline, 630 residential buildings, 16 medical institutions, 17 schools, and 13 kindergartens in Kyiv were left without heating. "Kyivteploenergo" has already begun repairing the damage, Klitschko reported.
