This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
They explained that the enemy launched missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea, and drones from the areas of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as Cape Chauda in Crimea.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces.
As a result of combat operations, 138 strike drones of the Shahed type and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Additionally, 119 enemy imitation drones were lost in terms of location: three of them flew towards Belarus, and one towards Russia.
On the evening of February 22, Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region with missiles. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed, and five others were injured. Civil infrastructure was damaged.
The enemy also attacked Zaporizhzhia. One person was injured as a result of the shelling.
In Odesa, as a result of the Russian attack by “Shahed” drones, three people were injured. A private house caught fire.
